Weight of Slowpitch Softball Bats that you should be using. Before you buy any Anderson, Miken, Mizuno, Demarini, Easton or Worth Softball bats you need to make sure you are buying one that is the proper weight for you and your team. Softball bats come in all different weights and what is right for one person is not always going to be right for you. Some people, generally guys, think that the heavier the softball bats they use the better it is. Using one that is heavier is not going to make you hit the ball any further especially if you do not have the strength for it and can't generate enough swing speed. From my experiences most people use softball bats that is a little bit too heavy for them. They should be using something that is 1 or 2 ounces lighter. Most often in Slowpitch it isn't as noticed as most people can still get a good number of hits and the odd homeruns. Take a look at the chart below and if you aren't using what is recommend give it a try in your next couple of practices. You might be surprised at how well you end up hitting. Here is a guide that you can use for deciding on which weight Men's and Women's Slowpitch softball bats are for you.
Remember this is just a guide and you should use this as a starting point. For more information about other services and products choose from one of the following links: About the Author:Article written by Ryan MacDougall |
