Easton sports is always on the cutting edge of technology and you can see it in their products. Their CNT Technology (Carbon Nanotube Technology) strengthens composite structures which will optimize the maximum performance. There are other companies out there that use this technology but Easton is one of the few that have mastered it.
That have also added a few other things to this bat which will improved you performance. The Synergy CNT Extended also has an extended barrell length which results in a larger sweet spot. Of course this will mean more balls hit further and harder. They have also developed a Extended Flex design to again help lengthen the sweet spot. It works by increasing the barrel flex towards the contour and the end of the bat to all for maximum performance across the entire barrel length. This Easton Fast pitch bat also uses the Patent Pending IMXTM technology to optimize the relationship between materials, design and manufacturing processes. It has a Pro-Tack cushioned grip with an ultra thin 29/32" handle with a -10 oz length to weight ratio. It is an evenly balanced bat for maximum swing speed. The Easton SCN1B Synergy CNT Extended Fastpitch -10 meets all 2005 bat performance standards including ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, SSUSA & ISF.
